Module 01: Respiratory Problems (Assessment)
A 21-year-old asthmatic who is non-compliant to his inhaled steroid, presents to the emergency room with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma. His dyspnoea improved with salbutamol nebuliser. He was advised to resume his inhaled steroid. He should also be prescribed with this before discharge from the emergency room.
A.Oral salbutamol to be taken as required.
B.Oral prednisolone for 5 days.
C.Oral theophylline for two weeks.
D.Oral amoxycillin for five days.
E.Oral zafirlukast for one month.
