What are "Past Recalls"?
"Past Recalls" are questions that candidates faced during the actual professional exams.

In MedexForum, we try to make it a trend in providing recalls after sitting for the designated exam and it would definitely benefit everyone.

How can you contribute?

  1. Sit for the actual exam
  2. Concentrate in solving questions during the exam (do not bother to memorize the questions)
  3. After done with the exam, immediately type out the questions (recommended to recall them IMMEDIATELY before going for any celebrations)
  4. Submit those questions by creating a new thread using the following format (strictly one question per thread)
  5. Please select a "prefix" - to specify the month and year of the recall
  6. Select the particular "subject" & "system" to categorize your recall - so that others can search easily
  7. Create "hashtags" to label your recall according to the format: ie #june2020amc1 (for June 2020 AMC MCQ recalls) or #january2020usmle1 (for January 2020 USMLE STEP 1 recall) or #oldrecallusmle1 (for Older USMLE STEP 1 recalls)
  8. Submit those questions within this thread using the following format (strictly one question per thread)
Example:
#june2020amc1

Woman with 2-month h/o affected mood, in customer service role, missing work, can’t be bothered to go to work, gets teary eyed often, recently hit her car to the pole, not paying attention, worries in the night about losing her job, does not listen to her favorite music in the car, married 1 month ago to a caring person.
a) Adjustment disorder
b) Dysthymia [usually take 2 yr]
c) Major depressive episode
d) Generalized anxiety disorder
e) Borderline personality disorder

Note: Please give #hashtags to the month/year/exam type of the recalls, bold the questions AND underline the option you chose during the actual exam. Kindly follow the above format so that it is neat and systematic (easier for others to search for recalls).

How would you benefit from this?
  1. You get to learn from the mistakes you made during the actual exam (if any)
  2. You can estimate how many questions you got right or wrong during the actual exam
  3. You have created a recall sharing trend and you definitely benefit from the recalls contributed by other candidates
